Lee has secured the unbelievable low rate of $89 per night (Thursday - Sunday). This is a FANTASTIC rate as this hotel sometimes charges upwards of $299 per night

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from to and from the airport as well as to downtown Boston. In addition, it is a short walk to the subway and just down the street from the JFK library for all you history buffs. The hotel is 2.5 miles from Downtown Boston and is located on the ocean.

The weekend will include but is not limited to the following:

  • Redsox -- Phillies game at Historic Fenway Park
  • Duck Tour which travels across the City, including a cruise on the Charles River
  • Historic Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall
  • Shopping and Dining
  • Freedom Trail
  • Walking Tour in the Public Gardens, including a ride on the Swan Boats (made famous in Book Make Way for Ducklings)
  • Visit to the USS Constitution, the oldest active commissioned warship in the US Navy
  • Visits to The North End (Little Italy) and China Town

Airfares are still looking GREAT from the east coast and quite affordable from other areas too. It's going to be another EPIC event we hope many Rangers (from EVERYWHERE) can attend.

We had a great turn out in Baltimore last year and are hoping for even more this year. For further details you can e mail me at gumbyfan79@aol.com.

Operation Phoenix/Comic Book Update

February 13, 2010

Hello Fellow Rangers

Comic Update: Issue 3 Release date should be announced soon. We received an update from Sam at DDP yesterday and hopefully we will not be disappointed. Let's see where this issue leads us. I think it may have a few surprises.

February 12, 2010- Latest From Sam Wells at DDP "We're going to press next week. :) Putting the finishing touches on it with corrections and such today and once we have everything at the printer then we'll be able to give a firm date."

We continue to see carriers sign up to carry Epix with the number 3,4,5,and 7 carriers in the US now in the fold and we have heard from Susan Gator that DirecTV is going to add Epix soon as well.

As K6 has mentioned, we have all collectively kept Jericho alive and the huge success of the comics has made an even stronger business case to the bean counters at CBS that Jericho needs to continue.

I hope that everyone in the Fandom is doing well and that we send out good thoughts for a quick warm up and snow melt down to those Rangers who fell victim to the Blizzards of 2010.

As always Stay the Course and Keep the Faith

Comments from around the Jericho fandom:

kid_miracleman: 1 ep of #Jericho [left] to watch. How this got canceled while American Idol is still on rationalizes the domestic terror attacks in the show.

jeremiahmullins just finished the last episode of jericho ...feel like a part of me just died

arthurwyatt: the real apocalypse for Jericho will of course be not having a season 3.

James D. Giddings:
"J" is for Jake and Johnston Green
"E" is for Emily Sullivan and Eric Green
"R" is for Robert Hawkins
"I" is for IRS where Mimi Clark worked
"C" is for Constantino the mayor of New Bern
"H" is for Heather Lisinski
"O" is for Ohio , Columbus where Hawkins was supposed to deliver the nuke
